We share your concerns about maintaining your privacy and
confidentiality on the Web. Any time you post information about
yourself anywhere on the Web, it's possible for unethical or unscrupulous
individuals to take advantage of that. Here's how we minimize
that risk:
1. We ask the minimum amount of information from you that we
need to deliver a service. For example, when you subscribe to
our newsletter, we ask for your email address and nothing more.
No personal or invasive questions like many other sites that are
trying to collect marketing information. All we need is your e-mail
address in order to deliver the newsletter to you, and that is
all we ask for.
2. At this time, we don't use cookies. Should we later add site
features that require the use of cookies, we will try to limit
our use of them to the minimum amount possible and at the same
time, keeping the site useful for those of you who keep your cookies
turned off.
3. We recommend that you provide the least amount possible of
private information about yourself to anyone over the Internet,
including us (this is a good policy off the Internet as well).
Sites that demand too much personal information from you should
send up a red flag... they aren't doing it for your benefit.
4. While this summarizes our simplistic view of staying in control
of your privacy, be aware that our advertisers, or the sites to
which we link, may have their own privacy policies which you should
review.
